Texas Recruitment + Interview Services (TRIS) offers rooms for current students in need of interview or other small-meeting (i.e. seven people or fewer) spaces. The TRIS suite can serve a variety of affiliate needs, including:

The TRIS suite is available for booking Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. except on University holidays.

What is provided?

-White board, markers, & erasers
-Locker room to store materials during the interview and/or for changing into interview attire

Need to change or cancel your reservation?
Interview rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Advance reservations are encouraged. Call 512-471-2425 for day-of availability. Please call 512-471-2425 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel or change your reservation.
Please note that TRIS prioritizes employer requests for interview space and that your reservation is subject to cancellation should an employer need a room on an otherwise booked day. We will communicate that need as early as possible should that occur. November to January and April to August tend to have the most capacity for non-employer requests.
Cosponsorship form for Student Organizations
If a student organization wants to host a recruiting event on-campus with a company/employer/organization, they will need to reach out to the Texas Recruitment + Interview Services (TRIS) office to secure cosponsorshio documentation. The following form must be completed at least 14 days prior to the event date.
With cosponsorship: Recruitment events are permitted, student organizations receive assistance as needed from TRIS, possibility for use of TRIS interview space, employers are vetted per the University policies to ensure quality, etc.
Without cosponsorship: Employers are prohibited from actively recruiting students; collecting resumes or other student information; sharing their information for the purpose of recruiting; tabling; or posting marketing material at these events on-campus.
