Can I book an interview room on campus?
Review UT’s campus-wide recruiting policies as well as the college-specific recruiting policies to assess whether the opportunity you’re recruiting for can be accommodated in on-campus interview suites.
Great! I’m good to go. Where can I book interview space?
Employers typically reserve interview rooms at the career services office for the college at UT from which they are primarily recruiting. For instance, if you are primarily recruiting Supply Chain Management and other business majors, you would reserve space with McCombs Recruitment Services.
Okay, but what if the career services office for my primary recruiting college is booked?
Texas Recruitment + Interview Services (TRIS) accommodates employers attempting to reserve dates on which career services offices are fully booked. Review the TRIS room availability calendar and, if there is a date of mutual availability, submit a reservation request.
As it turns out, I’m recruiting from multiple schools/colleges at UT.
If you anticipate having more than a 25% of your candidates coming from a single college, you can reserve rooms at TRIS, which is intended to support employers who wish to recruit broadly from UT Austin. However, if you anticipate 25% or less of your interview schedule will contain majors from outside of your primary recruiting college, you can still reserve interview space within that college’s career services office.
I’d like to generate interest ahead of time. How do I get a room for an information session?
Space for information sessions is managed by the career services offices of the individual colleges. You will need to contact the appropriate office directly or reserve space through their online recruitment system, where possible.
